Yup.
The fElon Muskrat prides himself on cutting through the bullshit. This is another way of saying 'got too much on my plate so I'll hunt for shortcuts' or 'I've taken on shit I should not have so I'm just going to fudge it' or 'I'm not actually interested enough to bother, I was doing this for the ego, so I'll just let the machine do the grunt work'.
The same strategy used by many students and non-students, like that Lawyer that though AI was actually a search engine style thing, and included cases in his provisions to court that didn't actually exist. He got disbarred.
So the tariff thing. It has me a bit baffled. That AI did it in part is almost a certainty as you've outlined.
That the agent orange just wanted to stay out of prison so cheated his way back into office is a likelihood. That he is now too old and not smart enough to understand anything (like how impressed he was that Baron could turn on the laptop when it had previously been off) is a certainty. That he wants the recognition because of his Daddy issues and so being a dictator and called 'Sir' by everyone is a certainty.
But my guess is that tariffs, and their guaranteed impact on the stock market, is a plan suggested by his wealthy backers. They'll be buying up stock or shorting it to make money.
You watch. The orange man will say 'the tariffs have worked and so there is less crime and drugs now so we're going to turn them all off again' in somewhere between a week and month is my guess.
We'll never find out the background of the doggie children and their destructive actions with the ego maniac at the helm. We'll never find out the prompt that wrote the tariffs or what model was used. We'll never see the orange man's tax returns. The orange man will never go to prison. The world will take many decades to trust the USA again. The USA as world police will disappear as an idea. The rest of the world will gear up militarily. BRICS will surge. USD will disappear as the dominant currency. The Empire of the USA is coming to an end.
