You've only got to read a few interviews with the android known as Zuckerberg, and read of the behind the scenes things he has said as revealed by folks who've worked there, and you can tell he cares little about us humes.

He started the Facebook to rate girls on college campuses. That is an opening declaration that he is a bit of a lowlife and cares little about other people, i.e. no empathy.

So the fact the monster that is Meta does what it does should not be a surprise to anyone.

Fortunately people are leaving it in droves. It still has significant influence and reach, but perhaps that will disappear soon.

Or it won't. Or if it did it would leave a gaping whole to be filled by an AI driven content generation engine.

I do know society has set itself up to be very very easy to manipulate. Already the algorithms divide us into vertical categories of ideology and interest.

And we primates are great at attacking anything outside our tribe.
