I thought this article was satire, but I didn't see the satire tag.

You can't get thousands of new jobs when there is no supply chain because everything that is part of the supply chain has a tariff on it.

You can't get thousands of new jobs when all the people looking to expand their business are actually contracting it because their input costs have gone up significantly.

You can't have thousands of new jobs when so many people are losing whatever discretionary income they might have had as a result of the increased cost of absolutely everything.
