I think that leaving a person desperate only causes trouble for society.

So even a 34 count fat incontinent orange racist felon should still get UBI. Every prisoner already gets a UBI to an extent in that they are fed and housed. They have a shower and water and power.

I think the FIORF should get UBI in a prison along with other offenders and should not be being treated so differently by the judicial system.

If you deny a person a UBI, they are far more likely to commit a crime to survive.

You've only got to ask yourself, if AI replaces most jobs and the average person can't get employment anywhere, which means no where to live and nothing to eat, other than a UBI, how do we stop society turning into one huge blackmarket and how do we limit crime in the streets.

And also you have to ask, which crimes. Violence would go up because desperate people often turn to violence.

But if no one has income, where does food come from? If automation does all the planting and picking and production, and no one has money to buy the food, how does the business making the food earn a living sufficient to keep making food?

We've got some very weird, and I'd say difficult, times ahead.
