I expect that the orange man's idiocy will get blocked in so many directions that the USA's position on world stage will be pretty much shot once 4 years are up. That's assuming the Orange Man isn't shot in the meantime. Or has a medical episode. His transaction only approach to everything and his isolationist view of the USA is going to bite the USA hard.

I am looking forward to him not only having had the smallest electoral margin ever, but also having the smallest inauguration crowd ever. As you say though, the main stream media are no licking the orange man's slightly poo covered shoes.

At least Musk's fight for the mic with the orange man means the DOGE thing will fade away. I wonder how Musk's ketamine fueled crazy will go then? Everyone in power is getting ever more wound up with ideas of grandeur.

And at the same time the world is a year or so away from being flooded with a digital workforce. Agentic tools in the AI space and robots driven by those tools on the factory flaws. Will they be filling the holes left by the deported migrants?
