I completely agree.

I don't know where all the power for EV's will come from if we don't want to increase the rate of global warming and green house gas production.

I don't know where all the power to run the robots will come from.

I don't know what will happen to all the people put out of work.

I don't know if a UBI will be introduced by introducing an automation tax on companies that include AI and robots in their factories.

I absolutely agree that I can't see how this will go forward, yet companies are aggressively moving in that direction.

Robots in aged care facilities is an absolute certainty. They are stronger than any human. They are patient. They will assist humans do the heavy work of moving other humans around.

There'll be robots in many repetitive task situations.

There'll be robots in life threatening and hazardous jobs.

And LLM's and other AI models will replace call centre workers, diagnosticians in medical centres, therapy call centres, etcetera.

Lots of paralegals and other admin staff will lose their jobs too.

Lots and lots of folks are going to be put out of work and the companies and businesses that employ them don't care about the greater economy, they only care about their bottom line.

What happens to all the displaced folks is a mystery and yet I can see no mechanism to stop it happening.
