Member-only story
I finally lost twenty pounds of fat.
Here’s how I did it, maybe it will help you.
Most reports say that a lot of us are too fat, and that too fat isn’t healthy. A lot of us want less fat, and our why varies, but here’s how I lost 20 pounds (10 kg ish) of my fat over the last six months (edit: that was six months ago and I haven’t put it back on).
I assume that you’re reading this because, like me, you’ve put on some Winter storage over the years.
Also if you’re like me you’ve tried to remove it. You may have failed, or succeeded, but then rebounded. This happened for me and I decided to take the task seriously. (Apparently rebound weight gain is super common and super annoying)(Edit.. no rebound so far. It has been six months since this story was first written).
Losing fat is all about turning the stuff into Carbon Dioxide (84% of fat gets converted, releases energy, and then breathed out..) and Water by burning it in our cells. We can’t excrete the fat we have stored* but we can limit the amount that gets stored. That’s later in this story. (*See update below because we can excrete fat in certain circumstances).
The only way to burn fat is through activity. Fortunately, being alive is enough activity. I wanted my fat gone, and more activity does help that.
