No matter how good a system gets at producing the art, it still takes human imagination to come up with what to produce (for the moment).
So I think white collar will disappear before blue collar, but creativity will survive slightly longer than procedural white collar jobs (accountancy, mathematics, some engineering, diagnostic medicine, etc).
I have no doubt that the world is going to be a very interesting place in the future. As a writer who is a poor artist, I'd love a system that can turn my stories into imagery. I'm happy to give the system prompts for my scenes or frames, but the art is the challenge.
Good article. I enjoyed the information.
I am keen for this to be mainstream so I can use it. I feel bad that I'm not paying artists directly, but for me it is an economic thing.
